Steven McEntire Obituary
Mr. Steven Paul "Fuzzy" McEntire, age 59, Clever, Missouri, passed away early Saturday July 4, 2015, at his home, with family at his side. He was born May 16, 1956 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Buster Paul "Buck" and Zelta Mae (Chastain) McEntire.
Steven married Deanna Lynn Maples May 7, 1976 in Springfield, where they made their home until they built their home in Stone County, and have lived there the past 18 years.
Steve has been employed at Paul Mueller Company in Springfield, for 40 years, where he was a craftsman welder until illness forced his retirement. He had great pride in his family, especially their only grandson, Garrett; his home, landscaping, and his Pontiac Solstice sports car. He was a member of the Union Ridge Baptist Church.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, who died in an automobile accident when Steven was six years old; two stepfathers, and a stepsister, Linda Evans.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; his mother, Zelta Mae Keithley; two sons, Dustin Paul McEntire and Steven "Chad" McEntire; Chad's son, Garrett McEntire; two brothers and their wives, Tim and Robin McEntire, and Jim and Brenda McEntire; a step sister, Betty Baty; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in Meadors Funeral Home, Clever. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, southeast of Clever. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, July 7 in the funeral home.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Mercy Hospice in Aurora, Missouri.

Love and prayers to you, Deanna on this anniversary of Steven's passing. I know every day since 2015, you've missed him greatly and unfortunately the anniversary date is harder than other days. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers. I hope to call you soon.

Steve was a wonderful, Christian, family-loving man, very humble and kind. He was a blessing in our lives. It's comforting to know he's pain free and is with his earthly father and heavenly father. We pray God's comfort for Deanna, Dustin, Chad and Garrett.
