Teddie "Ted" Ray Allhands

Marionville - Teddie Ray Allhands, age 83, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. He was born January 16, 1938, in Marionville, the son of Fred "Babe" and Irene (Odom) Allhands.

Ted was a 1956 graduate of Marionville High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army, being stationed in Germany. He spent his career as a supervisor at Syntex Chemical Company in Springfield, Missouri and was a member of the Clever First Baptist Church.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Tammy Allhands of Nixa, Missouri; three brothers, Max Allhands of Marionville, Charles La Verne Allhands and his wife, Donna, of Springfield and Larry Allhands and his wife, Suzanne, of Battlefield, Missouri; one stepbrother, James "Bud" Allhands and his wife, Linda, of Marionville; two stepsisters, Rosemary Melton and her husband, Clyde, of Springfield and Barbara Brauch and her husband, Bob, of Billings, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Irene, stepmother, Grace Allhands, one son, Steve Allhands, one sister, Dixie Clark and one stepsister, Gloria Murphy.

A funeral service, under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home in Marionville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Marionville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the church.
