Wayne Zweerink Obituary
Springfield - In memory of our Dad: Wayne Carroll Zweerink 93, Springfield MO. passed away on September 14, 2018 at Cox Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. He was born in Firth Nebraska January 18, 1925 to Arnelton and Mabel (Teselle) Zweerink. He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Belle (Lively) Zweerink on April 6, 2018. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glade and Leroy Zweerink. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 31 years of service. He served in World War II and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by son Randy Zweerink and wife Jan, Sandy Euliss, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Gladys and Wayne Zweerink are among my best memories! They were among life's treasures to me.
They were next-door neighbors for many years, when my son Russell died, they were there ! Such wonderful friends.
I will look forward to seeing them in Heaven.

I loved Gladys and Wayne. I was mom's beautician for a time. Precious and wonderful couple. I know they are in the presence of Jesus. We look forward to the day we are reunited!
