AILEEN KERNS Obituary
October 1, 2012
Aileen Kerns was born in Hamletsburg, Illinois and was a resident of Fort Myers since 1960. She was 85 years old when she passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Kerns. A private service of remembrance was held in her honor on October 1st at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her two children, Vonnie Scott and husband Dr. Roger Scott of Fort Myers, and Robert Kerns Jr. and his wife Pat Kerns of New York. "Nonnie" had four grandchildren, Jeanene Mann of Fort Myers, and Jennifer Jones DeMaio, Jesse Kerns, and Sara Kerns of California. She had five great-grandchildren, Hailey and Karlie Dennard of Fort Myers, and Leo DeMaio, Cailin and Bodie Kerns of California.
She will be greatly missed and we are all so blessed to have felt her love, support and devotion throughout all the years.
