Doris Sharp Obituary

Doris Sharp, 84 , passed away peacefully on January 29th in Westlake Ohio. Doris was born on April 12, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Leroy and Henrietta Beck. She grew up loving to roller skate at Kam's Corner which is also where she met her beloved late husband, James J Sharp. They were married for over 55 years and they enjoyed much of that time together in Fort Myers, Florida. They were both active in the St. Cecilia Catholic Community and Doris spent many years working in their nursery and she became well known for her love of taking care of children. She also loved gardening and she especially loved having dogs as a part of her family.
Doris is survived by one son, James J Sharp Jr (Tanya); sister, Shirley Hollopeter (Sheldon); sister-in-law, Joann Beck; nephews, Donald Beck and James Bednar; and niece, Lisa Bednar Cook. She will also be missed by her many friends and caregivers at Westlake Village. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James, and her older brother, Robert T. Beck.
Doris will be laid to rest in Fort Myers, Florida.

Thank you for providing this obituary. I did not know that Doris had passed. She was a dear woman who helped babysit my children when they were young. We loved her very much and appreciated how kind she was to our family.
