Eleanor Holt Obituary

Eleanor Ann (Carroll) Holt was born May 21, 1921 in Huntington, Indiana. She was one of five children born to Mr. & Mrs. Thomas F. Carroll of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Preceded in death is her husband Francis Holt, older brother Thomas Carroll, daughter, Jennifer Collins, and first husband Rev. Herman Jump.
Eleanor married Reverend Herman Jump in 1947. Together, they pastured churches in Ohio, Indiana & Michigan. After being widowed, she married Francis Holt in 1989, she enjoyed 24 yrs. of garage sales and thrift stores in FL.
She is survived by two daughters: Christine (Nate) Golly of Bend, Oregon, Sandra Jump of Defiance, Ohio and son-in-law Chuck Collins of Bryan, Ohio. There are 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She loved the Lord and was always active in her church. She was a member of First Assembly of God and McGregor Baptist.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. Villias Civic Association on 2306 Sunrise Blvd. Ft. Myers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to organization of your choice in her name.
Eleanor will be forever missed by Angie, Rick and all the girls who cared for her.

Eleanor was a beautiful strong lady that loved the Lord dearly. She blessed my life the day she joined with the Wm's media team at First Assembly. She loved to attend the Living from the Life of Christ Bible study and did so until her strength gave out. God bless her caregivers for bringing her to class. Beauty, strength,fortitude, and love for God and her family...that's Eleanor. She is missed.
