Gerald Jones Obituary
Sadly, Gerald 'Snuffy' Jones passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 64. He was born in Oceanside California in December of 1956 later moving through the western US and Missouri before landing in Fort Myers. He worked as a fire sprinkler foreman with local firms before obtaining his fire sprinkler contractor license and starting his own business, Jones Fire Protection Inc., in 2002. He obtained his Master Captain license and was an avid boater, fisherman and outdoorsman throughout his life. Snuffy was an interesting guy known for his pranks and sense of humor and everyone who met him never forgot him. He has left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Ann Clements. He is survived by his father, Walter Jones, sister Cindi Jones Beaudet, niece Jacqueline Davis, nephew Brett Beaudet and great niece and nephew Summer and Owen Davis, stepdaughter Erin (Matt) Walter and grandchildren Alec Walter, Cameron Walter. He also leaves behind his former wife, friend and partner in many crazy life adventures together, Sharon Jones. Donations may be made to the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, 325 SW 2nd Ave., Cape Coral FL 33991. Services will be private.

I got Snuffy into the Fire Sprinkler industry in about 1981 when he was living in the woods. Helped him get on his feet and remained friends for years until I had to move away. I´ll always remember him. He was a character. Be seeing you Snuffy, it won´t be long.
