Joseph Shallow Memoriam
Joseph Shallow
Born in Montreal Canada May 2, 1927 died peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 30, 2016. His life was well lived: US Army veteran, mechanic, farmer, flight instructor, commercial pilot (served as Secretary for the Quiet Birdmen). journeyman of skilled trades and among other talents was a luthier and musician. After moving to Pine Island in 1986 his love of flying and music continued while he raised exotic birds, created Big Bluegrass Song Book, operated an eBay store and made a difference in many lives. Married to his wife, Marge, for 71 years he is the father of seven, grandfather to seven, great grandfather of 19 and great-great to one. Heartland Bluegrass Association is hosting the first annual Joe Shallow Memorial Celebration on December 31, 2016 at Craig's RV Campground in Arcadia, FL.

He will always be here in Spirit!
