Obituary

June D. Hunt, 75, Fort Myers, FL and a former Rockford resident, died Saturday evening at Southwest Regional Hospital in fort Myers. Born Dec. 6, 1924 in Rockford, daughter of Gustaf M. and Anna Johnson Bergquist. Married Donald Hunt in Lincoln, NF on Oct. 31, 1943. While living in Rockford she owned and operated the Fashionette Dress Shop on State Street and also operated the Farmer's Wife Camera Studio. Member of Bethesda Covenant Church and a member of the Kathryn Circle at the church. One of the founders of Par-Tee Golf League and a volunteer at The Mill.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; son Mark (Susan) Hunt, Grafton, WI; daughters, Gretchen (Scott) Schwalbach, Rockford and Holly (Bob) Enichen, Morrisville, PA; grandchildren Sarah, Amanda, Samuel, Anna, Jack and Ben. Predeceased by parents and brother, Clifford 'Kippy' Bergquist.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2000 at Bethesda Covenant Church with the Rev. David Lindfors officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.

Visitation from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Memorials to Bethesda Covenant CHurch or The Mill, 3445 Elmwoold Rd, Rockford, IL 61101.

Arrangements by the Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapel, East Chapel.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
