Kenneth Krueger Obituary
Cape Coral - Ken Krueger, age 80, Cape Coral, FL passed away on December 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Theresa Morosco.
Survived by his loving wife Rita; daughters Laura (Curtis Kolls), Maryjo (Ken Lambke), Kathleen (Mark Drew), and son John Krueger (Stacy). Loving Grandfather of 11, and devoted Uncle to many. Friend to all.
Born on the south side of Chicago, Ken was a proud union lineman (I.B.E.W. Local 9) for over 35 years, building and repairing power lines and street lighting. His lineman duties also included a period of time building power lines in Kinshasha, Zaire, Africa, and numerous 'storm breaks' in various cities throughout the U.S.
A Navy veteran (1955-58), Ken dedicated a large part of his life volunteering for the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served as Commander of Harney Point VFW Post 8463 for three terms, as well as numerous other positions, since 1995.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 7th, 9:30 am at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral. Prayer service at 11 am, Interment at Coral Ridge Cemetery at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harney Point VFW Post 8463 Relief Fund

I remember Mr. Krueger from Harney Point VFW when I worked there years ago. He was such a kind and gentleman. Please give my best to all of your family and I will keep you and all at Harney Point in my thoughts and prayers.
