Mary Darna Kolaz

Mary Kolaz 55, of Bokeelia lost her battle with cancer on November 24th 2012. Mary was born November 24, 1957 in Bokeelia, FL to Jake and Helen Darna. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary was a 5th generation Floridian residing in Bokeelia her entire life. She worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 20 years. Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time on the water.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Kolaz, her mother Helen Darna, father Jake Darna, and sister Pearl Holloway. She is survived by her four children, Quentin Darna, (Angel), Heather Runner (J.J) Amber Blackwell (Chris) and Samantha Darna, grandchildren, Ryan, Kristian, Kailie, Elijah, Brandy, Mary, Brooke, Dakota, Caleb, Ezekiel, and Heaven, her sisters, Elizabeth (Dick) Gossic, Louise (Paul) Gladding, Alma Phillips, Donna (Larry) Rich, Vera (Bill) Silcox, Evon (Nathan) Williams, Loretta Darna, Jacquie Keller, and her brother, Jacob Darna.

Mary will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew her. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 28th, The family will be receiving visitor's from 10am until services begin at 11am. At Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Dr. Charles Peal Chaplin at Hope Hospice will be officiating the Service.

Mary was my sister, a perdon who had such a great gift of being herself. It seems impossible that a light that shown so bright could be darkened so completely. It is hard to think of her being gone from us, when she was so full of life. It doesn't seem real.I will miss her, her laugh,her sense of humor. There was only one... Love you Mary.
