Obituary

Michael Ciasca, 74, of Cape Coral, Fl, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, after an extended illness.

Formerly of Mt. Vernon, NY, Michael was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Newark, NJ to Carmine Ciasca and Angela Maria Gallo Ciasca of Vallata, Italy. Michael was a member of VFW Post 8463, Cape Coral, FL, having served in the Navy, in various campaigns, including the Philippine Liberation.

He was the plant Manager/Engineer of several larger manufacturing companies, for which he designed and constructed Silver Metallizing Machines for the Cosmetic and Liquor Industries, both here and abroad.

Michael is survived by Berta Ciasca, his beloved wife and companion of 28 years.

Michael is also survived by his loving children, a son, Michael James Ciasco, Jr., of Mt. Vernon, NY, and daughters, Angela Gram of Eastchester, NY, Donna Wroble of Bedford, NH, Lisa Sirabella of Eastchester, NY and step-daughter, Ingrid Beckhans of Sarasota, FL. Surviving also are nine grandchildren: Joseph, Michelle, John, Lauren, Nicole, Christian, Alexandra, Patti and Diana and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Bianca.

A short Catholic service was conducted for Michael, attended by his wife, children and a close friend, at Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, FL, at 2:00 p.m., Jan. 19, 2000.

Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL, Feb. 11, 2000.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name, may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Cir., Fort Myers, FL 33908.
