Obituary
Peggy M. Schiller, age 71 years, died June 9, 2008 in Petoskey, MI. She was born in Bay City on November 2, 1936 to the late Francis and Ann (Kurzyniec) Drzyzga.
She is survived by her husband, Roy I. Schiller, whom she married June 20, 1964, 2 children: Stacey S. (Santiago) Cash and Matthew J. (Melissa) Schiller, 5 grandchildren: Noah, Gabriela and Nicholas Cash and Joshua and Nathan Schiller, 2 brothers: Paul (Helen) Drzyzga and Peter (Jan) Drzyzga and a sister Francine Kay. A sister Joan Zeiter preceded her in death.
While in Bay City she was a member of the Church of St. Boniface and the Bay City Country Club, the Bay City Garden Club and Bay Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a member Boyne Country Club, the Lincoln Investment Club and the Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs, FL
Funeral Liturgy will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Boniface. The Rev. Fr. Robert J. DeLand will preside with the Rite of Committal following at St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Bay City Garden Club Memorial Fund. Friends may call at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. She will lie in state at the Church on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.
