Raymond Hosmer Obituary

Raymond B. Hosmer

April 11, 2014

Raymond B. Hosmer was born April 4, 1921 in Rochester, NY to his parents Ted and Anna Hosmer. He passed away on April 11, 2014 in Fort Myers, FL. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris; children Scott (Judy) Hosmer, Sherry (Tom) Parisi; grandchildren Donald Stewart and Corinne Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Richard.

Ray proudly served with the US Army during WWII Battle of the Bulge and had earned the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Silver Star, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Elks, Moose, Eagles, and VFW, all in Cape Coral. He was also a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Fuller Metz Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date at the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors. Please visit www.fullermetz.com to leave the family a condolence.
