Selwyn Zerof Obituary
Obituary
Selwyn Allen Zerof, 74, of Fort Myers, died on December 22, 2006. He was born on September 24, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, to Mary Jane and Albert Zerof.
He is survived by Charlotte Lauth, his wife of 50 years, his two sons Eric and Mark, a granddaughter Sara, and a brother Herbert.
Mr. Zerof received his BS and MS degrees from the University of Miami. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1958 He retired from the University of Kentucky as Manager of Operations and Systems Programming in 1991, and moved to Albuquerque NM and then in 2001 to Fort Myers.
A private memorial service took place on December 26.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friends of the Everglades.

I met Selwyn at a conference around 1984 in San Francisco. I enjoyed talking with him. I can´t recall - it was a while ago after all - if he was at a table of folks playing bridge.
I´m not sure why I thought of Selwyn today, but I´m happy to post my memory of meeting him, pass on my sympathies so many years later, and wish that he rest in peace.
