Bill Peed was truly a guiding force in my life. He was my mentor as my DCT teacher in high school. Twenty years later, I had the opportunity to work with him at the Lee County School District. I'm saddened at his passing. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Peed was my English teacher at FMHS. I graduated in 1966. He always had us working on projects that pushed us to do things that were unfamiliar, but still guided us along the way. He was the kind of teacher you could also call your friend.

Linda: I was so sorry to read of Bill's death. I met him in 1960, and maintained great respect for him. He was ever the perfect gentleman. He was also a wonderful mentor to his students. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
