PAUL BACHHOFER Obituary

PAUL DEWAYNE BACHHOFER  Paul Dewayne Bachhofer, 73, of Tecumseh, Okla., passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, in Shawnee, Okla. Born on September 21, 1950, in Shawnee to L.D. and Bonnie May (Patton) Bachhofer, Paul grew up in both Shawnee and Sweetwater, Texas.  In 1968, Paul proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in Korea and Germany. Known for his spirited personality, Paul had a mischievous side, always ready to share a laugh or bring joy to those around him. He had a deep passion for tinkering with cars and motorcycles, spending countless hours immersed in projects that reflected his creativity.  Paul is preceded in death by his son, Lonny Bachhofer; his father, L.D.; brothers, Jack Bachhofer, Larry Bachhofer, Alan Branson; and sister, Bonnie Dimbat.  He is survived by his former wife and friend, Julia Barbee; his daughter, Kacie Eck and her husband Brandon; his mother Bonnie Garner; and a large extended family who will remember him with love.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Shawnee VFW Post No. 1317 at 811 E. MacArthur St., Shawnee, OK 74804.
