Leslie Einfeldt Robson, 78, passed away May 26, 2023.
Leslie was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Girard, Penn., to the late Richard and Edwina Einfeldt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Martin C. Robson; and sister, Diane Seehusen.
Leslie is survived by her sister, Terre Johnson; family, Karen Jacobson (Ty Arends), Douglas Robson (Anne) and Martin C. Robson III (Jacque); and seven grandchildren, Meghan Dabkowski (Ben), Brendan Robson, Brett Jacobson, Dillon Jacobson, Kevin Robson, Colin Robson and Evan Robson.
Leslie attended Hamot Hospital School of Nursing and obtained a Bachelor of Science from Seattle Pacific University and a Master's of Science from Rush University in Chicago. She was a licensed registered nurse.
Shortly after obtaining her nursing license, Leslie enlisted in the United States Army, where she served as a flight nurse with the Army's Burn Intensive Care Unit. This propelled her into a nursing career specializing in burn trauma. Leslie was a member of several national boards and committees focusing on the nursing care of burn patients, including the American Burn Association and Advanced Burn Live Support. She was an educator and published author concerning the treatment of the burn patient.
A memorial service was held at noon June 5, 2023, at Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago, Ill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plastic Surgery Research Council Baronio Research Fund at www.ps-rc.org/baronio.
