Wanda Arden Munsey, 78, of Lenoir City passed away suddenly Saturday, June 15, 2024 at her home.
Wanda retired after 28 years as a teachers assistant at Eaton Elementary. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene Lenoir City.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Herbert H. Munsey; parents, J.T. Arden and Bessie Mae Ratledge Arden, and brother, Norman Arden Sr.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jamie Munsey; grandchildren; special nephew and his family, Norman and Crystal Arden, Cayla Arden and her daughter Bayleigh Ridge, Cayci and Brad Miller and their children, Kennedy Hope and Karson Marshall; niece Pam Baker; along with many other friends and church family.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. David Smith officiating.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 10 a.m. Serving as pallbearers: Mark Munsey, Jamie Munsey, Norman Arden, Crystal Arden, David Smith and Brad Miller.
