Addie was my Varsity tennis coach when i joined the team in 1990. I came to play with a cheap, undersized racket and she lent me her's. After a few practices, she let me keep it. She also would bring peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before games because she wanted to make sure we all ate before we played. She also had alot of patience with us. I was sad to hear about her passing from my friend and former teammate because we said we would've loved to see her again. She was a great coach and mentor and she has given us alot of fond memories. My condolences to Rosalie and family.

Addie was a very kind, caring, loving and generous person. She loved all her family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Wishing I could be there to help support the family at the time of our loss. I have always looked up to Addie as she was the oldest of my cousins on the Harvey side of the family. I'm so glad we had a cousin get together last year in Lynchburg, Va. We laughed and reminisced while eating, which we all enjoy doing. It was a great time together. I will miss Addie a lot, just knowing that she will not be with us at future family gatherings. Addie and I shared our Grandmother's name, Addie Cornelia Harvey Harvey.

With Heartfelt Sympathy,
