Irene, I am thinking of you at this time of loss. I have fond memories of walking home from school with you from Bedford Hills, perhaps when you were in the 7th grade and I was in the 5th. And maybe later sometimes from EC Glass. Losing a parent is never easy, and my heart now goes out to you and your family.

Our earliest of Aunt Alice where at the family home in Joes Creek, West Virginia. She would come to visit her mom and dad often. Aunt Alice would help with the daily chores whether it be in the garden or the house. We remember her sewing-skirts, dresses, shorts, blouses and quilt pieces. Aunt Alice has a big heart, a sense of humor, mischeif in her eye and time for everyone. Time spent with her was fun.
