Barbara Floyd Martin

Barbara Floyd Martin Barbara Gail Floyd Martin, 53, of Lynchburg, died at her residence. Born on December 5, 1958, in Prospect, she was a daughter of the late Howard Lee and Doris Daniels Floyd. She was a member of Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church and a retired U.S. Postal worker. She is survived by her children. Lauralee M Mills and her husband, Josh, and John-Richard Martin, Appomattox; three grandchildren; Tyler Wesley Martin, Georgia Arley Mills and Lucy Brice Mills; three brothers, Howard Anthony Floyd and his wife Kathy, of Farmville, VA, Donald Lee Floyd, of New Jersey and Jon Robert Floyd, of Charlottesville; her former husband and father of their children Richard Lee Martin and her former Mother-in-Law, Hazel Lee Martin, both of Appomattox. She will be greatly missed by her family, especially her grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, August 10, 2012, at Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Larry Mann and Rev. Randolph Martin. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Lauralee and Josh Mills.
