Barbara St. Clair Obituary

Barbara "Jeanie" Pearce St. Clair

Barbara "Jeanie" Pearce St. Clair, 82 years of age, won her fourth and final battle with cancer when the Lord called her to her Heavenly Home. She passed away peacefully in Lynchburg, Va., on the morning of November 13, 2025.

Jeanie was born in Farmville, Va., on December 28, 1942 to the late Myrtle Banton and Walker Raymond Pearce. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack D. St. Clair; two daughters, Jennifer Sue St. Clair and Heather Kincaid St. Clair Tobin and husband, Ryan Matthew Tobin; a son, Jonathan Wesley St. Clair; two grandchildren who were the light of her life, Georgia Pearce St. Clair Tobin and Theodore Aaron St. Clair Tobin; a sister, Gladys Pearce Stokes; a very special cousin, Betty Bomar; and other relatives and friends.

Jeanie was a dedicated homemaker, a loving mother, a proud Nanny and a member of Timberlake Church. We will miss her sweet smile and generous spirit.

The family would like to give their sincere heartfelt thanks to Dr. Susannah Cooper and the staff of Pearson Cancer Center and The Summit for their loving care and support.

A Celebration of Jeanie's Life will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service 427 Graves Mill Road in Lynchburg by Pastor Joe Elmore. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Timberlake Church, 21649 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
