Carrie Ashley Welsh, 79, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, starting at 11 a.m., at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. To share online condolences with the family, please visit www.whittentimberlake.com.
