Christopher Mason Obituary

Christopher Thomas Mason Christopher Thomas Mason, 27, of Evington, VA, died Thursday, October 18, 2012.

Born Sunday, March 31, 1985 in Lynchburg, VA, Christopher was the son of Thomas Lee Mason and Charlotte Hogan Mason, of Evington. In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his sister, Kaitlin "Sissy" Mason, of Evington. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnold and Rachel Hogan, and William and Dorothy Mason. Christopher was loved very much, and in return he was a very loving and affectionate person, who loved hugs and kisses. He was affectionately known as "kissy man". He loved to sing and especially loved singing Christmas Carols. He also loved to be sung to. He loved watching TV, especially Sponge Bob and wrestling. He will be missed, especially by his best friend "Sissy". A celebration of Christopher's life will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory Lynchburg, with Rev. Dr. Tom Bryant officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 22 in Altavista Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Organization for Autism Research, 2000 N. 14th Street, Suite 710, Arlington, VA 22201 (866)366-9710. We were sorry to hear about your loss Christopher was a fun child when I had the opportunity to interact with him on the bread truck. Sorry we could not have gotten to know him even more but he is in Gods hands now and has a perfect normal body and life. May god bless you and your family and be with you all in your time of sorrow.
