James ANDREWS Obituary

James E. Andrews Jr. 'Teddy'

James Edward Andrews Jr. "Teddy" departed this life Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Lynchburg General Hospital. James was born April 17, 1954, to James Sr. and Theodora "Ted" Andrews. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Donald Andrews "Yacky."

He joined Fifth Street Baptist Church at an early age and was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army and Reserve.

In addition to his parents, James "Teddy" is survived by a son, Anthony J. Andrews "T.J."; a sister, Stephanie Early (Vincent); a host of other relatives; and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, in Forest Hill Burial Park. The family is receiving friends and the cortege will assemble at 1006 Filmore St.
