He was a very generous person when my son died, and I appreciated his hospitality and being so nice to my family and I in 2006.

I spent so many happy days at Mr. Carson's house riding horses with your Mom, Gayle. Mr. Carson was so kind and many times we headed to Carson's store to fill up on candy. He was a wonderful person and the Concord community will miss him for many years. I am so glad I knew him most of my life. His eyes always lit up when he would see me and tell me all about Kelly and David. He was so proud of you. I am sorry for your loss.

I have a treasured memory (among many) of Jimmy and I 'pickin and grinin' with Roy Clark. What a kind, giving man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. The world has lost one of the good ones. Our loss....heavens gain.

Jimmy was in Concord High School class of 1951 with me and 17 others classmates. Jimmy and I and several more “Concord” boys were in the Navy at the same time. Our friendship has continued from early Concord days until his passing away. He has the prayers of us all!
