James Eadie Obituary

James Thomas Eadie, 77, passed away peacefully at his residence in Alva, Florida, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Jim was the devoted husband of Gay Wright Eadie. He resided in the Lynchburg and Evington areas for many years prior to relocating to Florida. He was a proud graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children: Nicole Eadie Crain, Kristin Eadie Jacobs and her husband Drew, Lauren Eadie Baker and her husband Nate, and Joshua Thomas Eadie and his wife Christina. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Trevor Wilkins and his wife Jamie, and Whitney Carroll and her husband Bob. He leaves behind a cherished legacy in his many grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
