Kitty Humphrey Obituary

Mary "Kitty" Scott Humphrey of Madison Heights passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 22nd. Daughter of Paul Myers Scott & Ruth Stinson Scott, she was preceded in death by her husband Ezra Humphrey and five siblings. Kitty leaves behind two sons, Troy Humphrey (Yvette) and Victor Humphrey (Mary Sue), grandson Collin Humphrey (Ayron Young), grandaughters Katy, Sara, and Hannah and their families, and sister Gracie Gunter (Richard Gunter).

Kitty leaves behind a legacy of joy and laughter to all who knew her. Following 30+ years of service to ChapStick in Lynchburg, she spent her retirement years traveling and singing with her friends in the Keenagers at Madison Heights Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Humane Society in honor of her favorite companion in later years, Leroy the Basset Hound.
