Loretta, Loretta, how I miss sweet Loretta!
What a great friend she was to me.
Through the years, we shared honestly and openly with each other about our trials and sorrows, along with our joys and triumphs.
We enjoyed great conversation in food and fellowship, with an abundance of laughs.
We would talk nonstop as she helped me paint lots of living spaces in my house over the years. And doggone it, she left me with three more rooms I will have to prime and paint solo as I imagine her decorating her mansion in glory!
Loretta and I shared similar interests in home decor and we would love to show and tell each other about our accomplishments and next projects.
On many occasions, when Michael and I traveled into the Lynchburg/Forest area for errands and appointments, we would call up David and Loretta to ask if they would meet us for dinner. We so enjoyed the impromptu gatherings.
Loretta hosted Michael and I in their home many times, even at the Holidays.
We all loved Loretta's Italian cooking. Several years back she catered my Mom's 90th Birthday celebration.
Whenever and wherever Loretta was, she stood tall and confident, and she was a big part of the "life" of the party. We all loved her presence: her laugh, her classy style, her friendliness, her easy-going way, her love for the Lord and others, and her beautiful, big smile.
