August 10, 1959 - August 26, 2025
Mr. Matthew Aquilla Mosby, Jr. age 66 of Clifton Forge and formerly of Brookneal, passed away on August 26, 2025 at his residence. He was the son of Mrs. Marion Armistead Mosby and the late Mr. Matthew Aquilla Mosby, Sr.
He is survived by three children, Logan Carlton of Roanoke, Va., Shamon and Shatel Mosby of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Faith and Damian Mosby, and Ezizah Rochford Carlton; three sisters, Marie Jackson (Charles), Roxie Stone, and Annette Cleveland; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel in Brookneal. Public viewing will begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
