Patricia Schlomer

1948 - 2025

Patricia Faust Schlomer passed peacefully on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at the age of 77. She was the wife of Lester Thomas Schlomer. Patricia was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 27th, 1948 to the late Martin and Blanche Faust. She was preceded in death by son James Matthew Bratton, brother Donald Faust, sister in law Joy Faust and great nephew Ethan Mays. Patricia is survived by daughter Heather Bratton, son Thomas Read (Cindy) Schlomer, daughter Alexandra Schlomer, sister Regina (Chester) Archer and brother Thomas Faust. Also four grandchildren, Celeste (Tyler) Hubbard, Logan Bratton, Grant and Link Schlomer, one great granddaughter Jupiter Hubbard, two nephews, Chase (Betsy) Archer, Chris (Samantha) Faust, two nieces, Jessica (Tony) Stamey, Amanda (Chris) Palmore, seven grand nephews, Nathaniel, Nick and Nolan Allen, Logan and Luke Archer, Shaun Goff and Jax Faust and four grand nieces, Olivia and Piper Palmore, Carmen and Bailey Faust. Pat was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Pat loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and girls' days out. Pat also liked car rides in the country and little towns, looking at old houses along the way. She wanted us to know that love is the most important thing in life. There will be a service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, 1021 New Hampshire Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502. A potluck is planned afterward.
