Ralph Dale Brown, 69, of Lynchburg died Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Emily Casper Brown.
He was born January 11, 1956 in Portsmouth, VA a son of the late Albert S. Brown and Minnie B. Brown. He was a master carpenter with a passion for volleyball and a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by one son, Truitt Dale Brown of Lynchburg; one daughter, Ella Mae Brown of Lynchburg; one brother, Keith Bailey and his wife, Sandy of FL; a very close brother-in-law, Dave Casper; two brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Butch Bailey, III and Ricci Brown and a sister, Kay Pease.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Finch & Finch Chapel, Altavista by the Rev. Bobby Brumfield.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Emily, Truitt and Ella so sorry for your loss .Dale had been opening and closing my pool for years . If ever a problem all you had to do was call and he could tell you how to fix it over the phone . Know he will be missed by so many .
