Rhonda McCoy Mason, 69, of 5995 Lawyers Road, Evington, VA, died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at her residence.
She was born June 4, 1955 in Lynchburg, VA, a daughter of the late Andrew Sherman McCoy, Jr. and Ruby Stinnette McCoy. She was a member of Langhorne Community Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, John Wayne Mason of Evington, Andrew Robert Mason and his wife, Christina of Midlothian, VA, and Aubrey Howard Mason, III of Evington; one half-brother, Andrew Josef McCoy of El Cajon, CA; and three grandchildren, Aidan James Mason, Benjamin Andrew Mason and Isabella Ripley Mason.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Stewart Mason; and her grandson, Landon Janse Martin.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2025, at Finch & Finch Chapel, Altavista, VA by the Rev. Dwight Weaver with interment to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m., Sunday at Finch & Finch Funeral and Cremation Service, Altavista.
