I am so sorry to hear of Rogers passing. I have known Roger for many, many years. In fact we e-mailed each other thru Classmates last year. We also lived near each other. He lived on Cotton Hill and I lived below Cotton Hill. Such a nice and considerate and awesome guy. R.I.P. Roger. Prayers for the Craig family.

Sorry to hear of Roger's passing. As a member of the Lynchburg PD I had the pleasure of working with him and found him to be a professional, kind-hearted, soft-spoken man. No matter how busy court was, he always found the time to chat, and really looked out for the midmight shift officers.

Roger was a year ahead of me at Glass High School. I grew up in Fairview and worked at Teague's grocery close to Green's. When I returned home from the military, I went to work at B&W in 1969. Roger was there in gamma scan but later I heard he left and went to work at the Lynchburg Sheriff's dept. I saw him a few times after that and sad about his passing. May God bless his family and he will be missed.

Rachel and children,
I have known Roger since he bagged groceries at Green's Grocery Store, on Campbell Avenue. I use to keep in touch with him when he workd for the Sherriff's Dept., I use to see at the court house all the time and we live on Jefferson Manor Drive, so we use to walk in his neighborhood. He was a wonderful guy and I am sure he is smiling down on you right now, saying he is in no more pain. I didn't see him after ya'll moved, but I never forgot him.

Rachel and family!
Thinking of you at this time. Thought alot of Roger. He and Tommy were good friends (and hunting buddies). I know you will miss him but you know he is not suffering anymore and is enjoying his friends who have passed on. I know you have lots of memories that you cherish and keep in your heart.
Again, you all are in my prayers.

Sorry to read of Rogers passing this morning. He used to umpire our softball games. I always was glad to see him show up to umpire. I recall one week he did our fall softball game on Monday and I saw him every night that week either doing a Glass, Heritage or Lynchburg Storm football game. He was a great guy and great official.
