Roger CROUCH Obituary
Roger Dale Crouch, 57, of Altavista passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1950, in Lynchburg, a son of the late Paul Douglas Crouch and Mary Willie Reynolds Crouch.
He was a self-employed mechanic and attended Victory Baptist Church. Surviving are his two daughters, Tracy Lynn Hightower and Connie Dale Crouch, both of Chase City; a brother, Ronnie L. Crouch and wife, Theresa, of Lynch Station; two sisters, Gayle C. Watkins and husband, John, of Bedford and Diane C. Dolan and husband, Roger, of Evington; a grandson, Bradley Neal Hightower Jr. of Chase City; and his companion, Barbara Williamson of Altavista.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at the graveside at the Keesee Family Cemetery, with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today, Aug. 26, 2008, and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Updike Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Huddleston.
