PRICE - Alan "Big Al", age 61, of Wild Wing, Blvd., Conway, SC died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Price was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Alvin Price and Renee Murday McQuillen. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and best friend. Mr. Price was a toughMarine with a heart of gold. He loved to tell jokes, play golf, loved fast cars and smoking cigars. Mr. Price was predeceased by step-mother, Margaret Price and one niece, Katie Viola. Surviving in addition to his mother of New York are, his wife, Janet Price of Conway, three sons, Brian Price, Jonathan Price and Kyle Price, all of New York, one daughter, Maureen Price of SC, three brothers, David Price (Charlotte) and Tony Price, all of New York and Glen Price ofAlaska, one sister, Eileen Viola of New York, two sisters-in-law, Joanne Christensen of New York and Maria Dowling of SC, one brother-in-law, Charles Hecker of NC 12 nieces and nephews and his 2 beloved dogs Presley and Blue. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday at St. James Funeral Home, South Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
