Hey Uncle Al, You and Aunt Edna have always been a very special part of our lives. You both scooped us up at an early age and loved us and always made us feel welcomed whenever we "dropped in on you"(which often was on Saturday nights!!"). We cherish our times with you; the annual barn dance, Aunt Edna's pizza's, canned cheese on cracker's, Balentine's XXX Ale and Saturday Night at the movies. Marcus and I, as you so fondly called him, wax fondly over these memories. I could write a book of stories because I remember so many things, but they are all here in my heart and in my mind and I love to share them with family as "my stories". Thank you for all these wonderful experiences. I was so lucky to be the first niece and have this treasure in my heart. Thank you from both of us.
Love you, Cathy and Mark

To my dear brother Al.
We had good times . Building tree houses in the big Maple trees that surounded the farm house .. growing up on the farm.. Ice skating on the pond near the house.bond fires and cooking mickies..playing mumblely peg with the pocket knife.. sitting on the fence watching the buriels being ever so quiet like we promised Mom. Hanging out with you and cousin Danny O'Niel .. going to the Cozy corner in Sea Cliff for ice cream sundeas and the juke box..when you left for the Army MP's ..your packard with the rumble seat. going to Jamaica on the train to go to the Valencia theatre to see a movie.. Your Friday night gang. playing shuffle board at Mickey and Johnnies. You and dad going clamming and crabbing and your eel pots over at the sand bank where you and Charlie worked and the store room in P.W.and all the good times we had .the many parties and celebrations.. We had a great life.. and I thank you for being a big part of it. I love you ,
Dot

Al, We sure had some good times over the years. The softball games in the back yard. I think of the times we would ride the farm wagons in the potato fields. I miss your smile and laughter and the teasing, but I know all these memoirs will always be with me. I think of you often. Love Trudy
