Beatrice Ferrari Obituary
Loving mother of Angela
Ferrari-Aldieri (Daniel) and Dina Ferrari-Lopresto (Robert).
Cherished Mimi of Andrew, Luke, Harrison and Jagger. Also survived by many loving family and friends. She was a global studies teacher for 36 years; 32 in the Farmingdale School District. She was an active member of St. Kilian R.C. Church of Farmingdale and the Farmingdale Women's Club. She was recognized as a Nassau County Woman of Distinction. Many of her past students attribute their success in life due to her influence as a teacher. She always remembered who she helped and was happy they reached their goals. Whenever she met a former student, they always recognized her. If that's you, know that she celebrated your success. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home Inc., 385 Main St. Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Wednesday, 11am, St. Kilian R.C. Church. Entombment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.

Bea and I were childhood best friends. Then, our paths separated. I could not, and would not, believe the circumstances that took her life. It is still devastating to me.

My mother, Joan Duffy, taught with Bea at FDR High School in Brooklyn in the 1970s. Bea was remembered as a dear friend and co-worker. May she rest in peace.

Oh Dear, "Ms D". I know you will be missed by all who met you.
Once I heard that you were originally from Brooklyn, and still taught the same subjects, I knew you were my World Studies Teacher at FDR High School in 1969-1970 year. You were perhaps the kindest teacher I ever had at my High school. But I remember you as Miss DiGiovanni. (You were using your married name in following years). Thank you for the beautiful memories you left with us. You´re gone too soon. I wish all who knew you and will certainly miss you eventual comfort

I worked for the SS Director for several years at the HS, and had contact with all the teachers. Bea was one of the sweetest loveliest kindest women I knew. She also tutored my daughters. Rest well Bea
