I only recently learned of Charlie's passing. I very much enjoyed working with him for a few years when he was Supervisor of the Town of Smithtown. I and others knew him as putting public interests and principles ahead of certain expediencies. I'll always remember that and his kindnesses to a young man beginning his career long ago.

I have warm memories of him growing up. That is why he was the perfect person to marry us on 7/18/03.

Louis, Scott and Tara,

For as long as I can remember, "Mr. C" was just like an extended member of the family as we spent many shared memories. Some are forever etched in my mind like watching the Jets-Raiders "Heidi" game and always hearing about the Green Tide. Even with my career and always moving, we continually stayed in touch. In all my discussions with Mr."C", his devotion to family never waivered and he was indeed very proud of each of you. Patti and I share in your loss of this great man. Thoughts and prayers to you all and your families.

so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of your dad celebrating the holidays here in Massachusetts. I enjoyed visiting with him (and your mom) during the holiday seasons. He was a very unassuming and humble man. I hope he knew that he was always welcomed here. It's tough losing anyone you love so special, but especially during this time year. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the Cacciabaudo family. Love, Rosanne
