Butch, It is one year when I got a call from Robim saying you had passed away. We knew the time was coming but still it was a shock and so very sad to hear the news. We had good times together and I will always remember the time you crawled into Ed's hospital bed right after he had his kidney operation. You had tricks up your sleeve all the time. Robin will get messages from you and feel like you are just sitting there because I feel like Eddie is beside me many times.Happy Anniversary on your first year and May you rest in Peace. Till we meet again... June

I totally agree with my brother(Peanut) Uncle Butch was my 2nd father. My Uncle Butch was a very big & strong man. He was a "Real tough Brooklyn guy". Uncle Butch was the best at telling stories & jokes, even though some of them you heard over & over. He had a few new ones here & there. No matter what was said about him, everyone knows he loved his family. I miss ya, Uncle Butch! Love JJ

I miss his stories too peanut!!! hey were some good ones. Im sure I got the short version, since I was his little girl and wans't aloud to know my dad did "bad" things!! hahaha. but most of all I know in my heart he is looking down on us. now smiling and his not in pain anymore...

First Christmas you are not with us.But we know you are in a better place right now, no more pain but in our thoughts we can still see you and have many good stories to remember you by and that certain laugh of yours. Butch was a Santa Claus and was giving all year round to those he loved. Now he is looking over his loved ones and watching from above and protecting them. You can now rest in peace, Love and prayers.... June

My uncle to me was like a dad no.2 to me, he listened and talked when you asked him for some advice but especially he was there for you when you needed him, although sometimes we did not see eye to eye,
on somethings, he was always there for me, I miss the card games, the conversations and yes the famous stories of the New York Sanitation dept, but most of all,
I miss him-- The General

Mr.Charles Switzer(BUTCH)was a very special person and was very much loved by us. My children and I did not know him too long, but he touched our lives the way no one else has and we will forever keep him in our hearts. We will also keep his memory alive for ever by naming Brian's first son after him. He was a very funny and a very kind man, very thoughtful. We want our son to be like him. We will never forget him.
