Donald McIntosh Obituary

McIntosh - Donald, passed away on August 26, 2025 with his devoted wife and family by his side. Born on May 6, 1936 in Glasgow, Scotland, Donald immigrated to the US with his wife and daughter in 1963 and made a new home in Commack, NY. Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Jean; his dear children, Isobel Szilagyi (Jerry) and Don McIntosh (Lisa); and his cherished grandchildren, Heather Szilagyi (Jay Tilton), AJ Szilagyi, Emily McIntosh

and Cameron McIntosh. Donald

considered his family to be his legacy and proudly believed that they will make the world a better place. Donald was a talented artist and craftsman and an avid NY Mets and Glasgow Rangers fan. He played soccer for much of his life and was known as a pool shark at the local senior center. Donald will always be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, his intelligence, his sense of humor and his kindness. He is already missed. Donald's family would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors and staff who provided compassionate care for many years. As per Donald's wishes, private arrangements have been made.
