Dorothy Chiariello Obituary
(Elizabeth), Gerald, II (Alyse), and Nicole O'Connell (MJ). She was the Queen Bee who never said no to her eight adoring grandchildren, David (Sarah),
Sarah, Julia, Talia, and
Gianna Chiariello, and Michael, Dylan, and John O'Connell. She was truly the "doyenne of domestication" and dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved hosting family events and other gatherings and decorating the house for every season and holiday. She was always "dolled up" and ready to have fun. She was active in the St. Francis Hospital Guild, and in her younger years frequently appeared in plays at St. Mary's Church and as an extra on the soap operas All My Children and
Ryan's Hope. Her loss will truly leave a void in all our lives. Visitation Monday, March 20, 2023, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545. Mass Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 10 am at St. Mary's Church, Roslyn, NY. Burial to follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.
