Douglas Conlon Obituary

Conlon, - Douglas Brian, Age 74, St. Augustine, FL â€" Went home to be with his Lord, April 9th, 2023, Holy Easter Sunday, surrounded by family. Douglas was born January 20th, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, to Vincent and Olive Conlon. He served in the Vietnam War with the USAF and later with the USMC Reserves. Douglas had a prolific belief in servitude to both country and God. Douglas served New York State as a Police Officer and went on to retire with the NY Suffolk County Highway Patrol. In his retirement years he continued service with the USCG Auxiliary. Douglas is survived by his wife, Kathleen

Marie Conlon; their three children Elizabeth, Bryan and Claire-Eve; eight grandchilidren, Victoria, Aemon,

Olivia, Liam, Peter, Aaliyah,

Roman and Alice; and great-grandson, Ashe. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara; her husband, Robin; and their children, Tiffany, Krystal and Lee. Douglas was an avid reader, crossword puzzle lover and a phenom with numbers. He loved his family, friends and faith. He remained involved with his famiily parish, San Sebastian Catholic Church of St. Augustine, FL, until his last day.
