Dear Grady family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard the news from one of my friends. I went to high school with Eileen and unfortunately lost contact with her when I moved out of state. She was always a very sweet person. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I was very sorry to hear of Eileens passing. My condolences to you all. I only knew her a short time at Leviton but she was one of the first to sail with me. Her smile will always be remembered.

Dear Grady family,
My heart goes out to all of you. Eileen was such a sweet person. I remember her going out of her way and doing all my bridesmaids and my make-up just because she wanted to do it. I was the prettiest bride and I owe it to her.

Words can not explain how heavy my heart feels. I am so sorry I was unable to make it to the wake/funeral as you know my family was on vacation when I heard the devastating news. "I" was a great friend with a smile that lit up the room...she will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Eileen's passing. I grew up with Eileen at Holy Spirit and we went to Sewanhaka H.S. together. I regret that we were never able to keep in touch. My prayers are with her family.

Eileen was my second cousin, my grand mothers niece. I can remember going to NY on Amtrack train with my grandmother to spend a few days with the Gradys. I looked forward to it, they were a little older then me but we always had fun. Eileen will always be missed. Rest in peace!

Michael, Margaret, Ann Marie, Maureen, Margaret, Kathleen,
I only met Eileen once, not coincidentally, I'm sure, after morning Mass at Holy Spirit. I feel her spirit through all of you as you carry on.
I've long relished the following words spoken by Father Mychal Judge. Perhaps they might offer you some consolation as they have me when I have experienced great sorrow.
"Sometimes in life when we lose someone we love and we don't know what to do, we should just pray and worship: Thank you, Lord, for their lives, for their love, creativity, for their friendship, their good days and bad, for their happiness, for their anger, for everything they've brought into our lives. These are things we should say about each other always. If we did, life wouldn't be half bad. I hope someday that someone says things nicely about me as I said about them through the years. I love you, so just love each other the best you can. ..."
This seems to say it all.
My heart goes out to you all in your time of grievous loss.
