Just came upon this obituary of Eileen. Wanted to let her husband and son know I taught with Eileen at St Margaret´s School in Middle Village, Queens, back in the 70´s and 80´s not sure which years Eileen was there. She invited me to try out for the part of Laurie in a play she was directing for St Ann´s parish in Flushing. That´s when I found out she was a wonderful and creative director. Such an unassuming person with a great sense of humor and love of her students and the cast members. A joy with whom to work. So sorry for your loss of her. Certainly a light has gone out of the world with her passing but her legacy - the lives she touched and the gifts she generously shared - will remain forever. She gave her all and brought out the light in all around her. Well done good and faithful servant!
