Your love was constant. Miss you, mama.

To the family, I'm sorry for your loss. When I saw the Hagan name in Newsday and then George and then Flatbush, it brought me back to my childhood. My parents bought their home on Raleigh Place in Flatbush shortly after WW 11. They bought it from George's mother or Aunt, not sure. They lived on the next street Fairview Place, our back yards abutted. Georges sister Mary used to come to my house often and have a cup of tea with my mom. The Hagan's and Kelly's vacationed on Shelter Island many times. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss. As I read the notice, memories came flooding back. By the way, George taught me to swim. I won a few medals.
