My wife and I are so sorry to hear about Frank's passing which we heard yesterday from my sister on Long Island. I first met Frank in 1963 when I was a young rookie assigned from the police academy to the 73rd precinct. He basically took me under his wing and taught me how to survive by building strong relationships with people through humor and compassion. Frank was a extra fine police officer. He was honest, sincere and a person you could trust. I aways enjoyed working with him. Frank was the kind of person that if you called the police in your time of need, you would want him to respond. He was extremely helpful. Most police officers assigned to the 73rd would say the very same things about Frank. He was truly admired. Before I married in 1966, my wife was living in a nurses residence at Brookdale Hospital. I can fondly recall Frank and I stopping there for our dinner of Irish spaghetti and meatballs if we worked together on a 4X12 shift. After I married in 1966, Frank was present at our Brooklyn apartment with a u-haul truck to help us move to our new home in Deer Park. We enjoyed many parties in Frank's home with Ethel and his immediate and extended family. Most often when we now talk about our past experiences, Ethel and Frank are aways included in the story, and we laugh. Thank you Ethel and Frank for such wonderful memories. May you both rest in peace.

To the Isola family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. He was one of the funniest men I have ever had the honor of knowing through the years. I will always remember great laughs at my dad and Dawn's house when your dad and mom were over or when all of the kids were together....we really did laugh all night.
May Frank rest in peace with Ethel.....he brought his family and friends many good times and laughter. He will surely be missed and cherished.
With sympathy,
