Frank Scarpulla Obituary

SCARPULLA - Frank, 84, passed away February 6, 2017. 'Uncle Frank', as he was commonly known by many, served in the 31st Infantry Regiment in the Korean Conflict and he received the Purple Heart as a result of front-line combat. He also received the Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Metal, and the Overseas Bar-National Defense Metal. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Beloved for many reasons, Uncle Frank is survived by a legion of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He had many dear cousins in Florida and New York as well. He was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Scarpulla. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
