I need to correct my earlier post. Dr. Vanini helped my dear mother, God bless her, at his Manhassett, NY office, (and not in New Hyde Park, NY).

Dr. Vanini was so helpful to my dear mother. His supplements of : fish oil, nattokinase and sugar defense were a big help to her. And with God's many blessings gave her an additional 13 years of life till she returned home at 98. Thank you Dr. Vanini and your staff for providing such wonderful help at your New Hyde Park, NY office.

The world has lost a true physician with the passing of Dr. Vagnini.
He may have been the last Dr. who believed in the medical credo of "first do no harm-then do good".
When I first met Dr. V. in 2007 I was 66 years old, and couldn't walk. I weighed 232 lbs. and had 5 arteries clogged 95%'
My original Dr. gave me 2/3 months to live unless I had very Iffy dramatic surgery. I elected not to have the surgery and switched to Dr, Vagnini who put me on his nutritional/ exercise/ and life style program and I lost 88 lbs. in 5 months. thru exercise, nutrition, and changing my diet to mainly plant based non-meat non-fat.
I am now 83 years old and for my 80th AND 81st birthdays I climbed a 670 foot elevation and then hiked 15 miles back to the starting point. Dr V, was the most extraordinary person I ever met.

Dr. Vagnini was an incredible doctor and a great man. He had such a holistic natural approach to good heart health. It was always a pleasure to bump into him around Manhasset. They don´t make Doctors or men like him anymore, he is missed.

There was no doctor like Dr. Vagnini. We moved to NC 8 years ago and we have not found anyone to help us with our health as Dr. Vagnini used to do. My husband and I miss him very much. May he rest in the arms or our Heavenly Father for eternaty.

Dr. Vagnini was a wonderful person and a very competent, caring doctor. He knew so much about everything. His expertise was well known by so many patients and those who listened to him on the radio, TV and read all of his books. I miss him dearly. RIP, Dr. V.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of one of the best Nutritionist and Cardiologyst in America if not in the entire World. I was one of Doctor Vagnini and learned about him on a few visits while driving my late landlady to his clinic at 600 Stewar Ave. After driving my late landlady to his clinic, I like his way of practice and became one of his patients. I love his quilation treatments which help me wonderfully.
How I learned about his passing is that I neglected my regular visits and called the number I kept with me.
My condolences go to his family and know that in my heart, Dr. Nini will forever be missed.

I met Dr.Vagnini about 15 years ago when I took my mom for an evaluation for heart issues. He was amazing ...my mother lived until 93 even though she had major heart issues. I heard several times from other doctors that she was on her last leg,but we continued giving her supplements and she would rally for another year or two! She finally passed from an intestinal obstruction from an old surgery not heart. When he was at his best he was brilliant, funny and full of life. I'll miss hi weekly radio show!

My deepest condolences to the Vagnini Family on the passing of a great man. I always listened to his radio show and was ever so grateful that he shared his wealth of knowledge with all of us. RIP Dr. V and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you taught me.

Truly one of the last people that cared, Brilliant beyond belief, kind beyond words, and to the point, which is what we needed. He lived with passion.

Dear Vagnini Family: It is with great sadness that I learned today of Dr. Vagnini's passing. My Mom and I were long-time patients, and he kept my Mom alive until the age of 91. Dr. V was the most knowledgeable and compassionate doctor I have ever known. I know that he is with the angels now and receiving his reward for all the help and care he gave to so many people.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, colleagues and other patients of Dr. Fredrick J. Vagnini. He was an extraordinary physician, a brilliant mind, and a compassionate human being. I can never repay what he did for me. In 2007 I was given 2 months to live by other Drs. yet “Dr. V” kept me alive, and helped me get well and thrive for over seven years (strictly through nutrition) truly astonishing.

Dr. V was the most amazing doctor out there. I had been visiting for over 30 years, and I was constantly amazed by how he continued to be on the cutting edge. He was an amazing surgeon, and performed surgery on both my mother and I. If it wasn't for Dr. V, I wouldn't still be living today. He was an amazing man and I will never forget him. I will always remember him every Sunday on his radio show saying 'your health is in your own hands'. He was a larger than life man and I truly owe my life to him. I remember the first time I saw him on the NY Times Best seller list - I was so happy for him! He truly touched the lives of so many people.

Dr. Vagnini (Dr. V as we sometimes called him) was a compassionate, truthful, kind, and powerfully effective physician. While treating those of us who were sick, he was also a formidable advocate of preventive care. a uniquely skilled surgeon and a tenacious researcher he was on the cutting edge. As this honored physician cared for us we now trust that his being in the care of the Great Physician and that we shall meet again on that Great Day. I just heard of Dr Vagnini's passing. My prayers go out to his family and friends. As my doctor for several years he pinpointed many things to improve my health, and believed in exercise and asked that you do it! I'll never forget my first physical as a robust guy when he came in to listen to my heart he said : " You've got LATS! " probably the only muscle I had at the time! He stopped everything one day to get me an appointment with the great Dr Harry Fisch. He was such a Now ! Take charge of your health! I will help you! caring man and helped me and taught
me things. I loved him, his caring ways, his great radio show and how he could make confusing medical and nutritional information approachable and bottom line it and was always innovating. He used the best of both worlds of medicine and nutrition which has to be easily twice as hard. I will miss him in this World. I pray he is with Angels now and knows how much he was loved and his family knows how great he was to his patients. I so admired that he was so inclusive of his love of people, places, food, giving his patients hope and most importantly telling his family and friends on the air that he loved them. What a great man !

Dr V was my physician for 20 years. He was the most knowledgable doctor and an excellent diagnostician. Most important he was someone you could trust and respect. My condolences to Dr. Vagnini's family. I never had the blessing of meeting Dr. V, but he was a part of my life every week. My getting-ready-for-church process was arranged to accommodate listening to Dr. V until I had to rush into church for the prelude! I am so grateful to the wisdom and knowledge he imparted each week on WMAR in Baltimore. My family is making better health choices because of his dedication to sharing information with listeners each week. Rest in peace, Dr. V. We will miss you.

We went way back with Dr.V, from his restaurant in Hastings, his mini wellness center in Scarsdale and of course the Manhattan office. He championed this country, capitalism, health care freedom and with compassion for cops, firefighters and teachers like me. He always took my calls personally. I want to thank you for always helping my family, As we all know in our family of how you saved my dad's life and how many times you always were willing to assist any of us in any medical situation. You were again helping when you told Lou to go for the pacemaker and other medical consults to him. My parents loved going to you for any medical advice or treatments.
